Warmline

The Warmline is a free, non-clinical phone support service for people aged 15 and over who are experiencing:

• suicidal thoughts or distress

• a recent suicide attempt

• bereavement due to suicide

This service is available to residents of the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, and Central Queensland regions.

What To Expect

Peer-Led Support

Speak with trained peer support workers who have lived experience with mental health and suicidality.

Call-back Model

Leave a message and a team member will return your call to assess your needs and connect you with a peer worker.

Flexible Support

Up to eight scheduled calls, with additional sessions available based on the individual’s needs.

Safe, Understanding Conversations

Peer workers offer emotional support, help develop coping strategies, and assist with safety planning.

Complementary to Clinical Care

A community-based, early intervention service focused on connection and understanding.

When is it available?

  • Monday – Friday: 1:30 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
