NewAccess:
Low-Intensity Early Intervention Support

The NewAccess program offers free, low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (LiCBT) for people experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression and anxiety.

It’s designed to be flexible, accessible, and stigma-free — ideal for those who may face barriers to traditional mental health care.

NewAccess is available to people aged 12 and over who are not currently accessing mental health support. The program is delivered across the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, and Central Queensland regions.

From 1 May 2026, we will no longer be accepting new referrals to NewAccess. If you need support, Medicare Mental Health can help. Please call 1800 595 212 to talk through the options available to you.
